OSCseq was not freeware. That's because developers of paid software have an extra responsibility to make working software.
OSCseq licenses come in two flavors, of which the functionality is identical:
Demo: € 0,-
Trying OSCseq was free, without limitations, except for the text 'Demo' in the title bar.
Licensed: € 40,-
You could buy a license if the fully functional trial has convinced
you that OSCseq makes your life happier.
Licenses remained valid until the next major upgrade, i.e. all bugfixes and minor updates were free. If you owned OSCseq, you would get a 50% discount on the next major version.
